Strategy & conception:Strategies and Concepts for a Successful Transition to New Propulsion Technologies
We combine strategic thinking with operational expertise. Drawing on scientific expertise and a local perspective, we develop solutions to the challenges of decarbonizing mobility and industry. hysolutions provides clear guidance and helps navigate complexity. The strategies we develop are implemented by companies, state governments, and the federal government.
1. Development and implementation of energy and mobility strategies
We support cities, municipalities, and companies in developing and implementing energy and mobility strategies—with a particular focus on electric mobility as well as hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.
This begins with foundational strategies that establish goals and define measures. This also includes municipal plans for transitioning their own fleets or properties, including guidelines for municipal enterprises. Creating incentives and the right framework conditions for businesses and citizens to support these goals is also crucial. Our task is, on the one hand, to leverage the regulatory and policy framework of cities and, on the other hand, to engage local stakeholders through communication and networking initiatives.
2. Analysis of the needs and potential for public charging infrastructure (LIS)
Cities and municipalities play a central role in the planning of charging infrastructure and hydrogen refueling stations: By allocating space in public areas, they can significantly influence how and where charging infrastructure is built.
We offer customized concepts for comprehensive, needs-based expansion that is optimally suited to each city or municipality. Based on our local needs and location analyses, we assist with the planning and placement of a needs-based infrastructure. Depending on the specific application, we can adapt our analysis tools to different user groups, vehicle fleets, or regional administrative units.
In addition, we advise cities and municipalities on selecting the right operating model and assist in structuring the allocation of sites to optimize the type, quality, and user-friendliness of the infrastructure.
